Lia, a member of the popular K-pop group ITZY, unfortunately had to miss the “K-Pop Super Live” event at the 2023 World Scout Jamboree due to health concerns. Her agency, JYP Entertainment, released an official statement on August 11, just before the event was set to take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Reported by LycansEye

The statement from JYP Entertainment reads as follows:
“Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
We regret to inform you that Lia will not be able to participate in today’s highly anticipated 2023 World Scout Jamboree ‘K-Pop Super Live’ event. This unfortunate situation is due to health-related reasons.

The health and well-being of our artist is our top priority, and after careful consideration, we have come to the decision that it would be best for Lia’s health if she does not attend the event. We kindly ask for the understanding and patience of the fans who were eagerly looking forward to her performance.

At this time, our primary focus is on helping Lia recover, and we are fully committed to providing her with all the support she needs.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you.”
Currently, ITZY is actively promoting their latest comeback tracks, “Kill My Doubt” and “Cake.” Notably, “Cake” achieved its very first music show victory, marking a significant achievement for the group. However, there has been mixed feedback from netizens about the track, with some expressing concerns that the quality of ITZY’s music has been declining since their previous release, “Sneakers.”
